PARTNERS
Since 1993, Punlaan School has been partnering with top-performing local and international hotels and restaurants in order to provide real work environment experience for the students such as food preparation, baking, food service, waitressing, to name a few. This form of partnership makes a positive contribution to society by opening doors of opportunities for career and professional development thus, alleviating poverty in the country. Through the on-the-job (OJT) placements of beneficiary students in establishments, the students learn the standards of work and culture in the hospitality and culinary industry, and in turn, maintain a high level of competence in their field. The students are also given jobs immediately after graduation. In addition, as part of Punlaan’s scholarship program, our industry partners contribute to the funding of the students’ tuition fees.
Through the years, we have 100 industry partners that share our vision of transforming the lives of poor young women in the Philippines.
