Expanded Program to Hotel Services and Food Preparation Technology

Pioneered the German Dual Training Program in Food and Beverage Services for the Tourism Industry (hotels and restaurants) in the Philippines sponsored by The Landesinstitut fur Internationale Berufsbildung (Germany) in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation ( Germany ) and The Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP)

His Excellency President Fidel V. Ramos signed the Dual Training Law institutionalizing the Dual Training System as the preferred mode of vocational training and Punlaan was selected as a showcase of the government on Dual Training System mode of Training Delivery

TESDA Kabalikat Award was conferred by the Secretary of the Department of Labor & Employment ( DOLE ) Bienvenido Laguesma to Punlaan School as an outstanding partner for its contribution to the promotion and development of the country’s middle level manpower in terms of skills, abilities and proper work attitudes.

Department of Tourism conferred Punlaan the Tourism Training Center Accreditation.

Pioneered the Senior High School Dual Training Program Tech-Voc Track in Hospitality and Culinary Arts in the Philippines

Awarded for Excellence in Vocational Training by the Philippine-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Most Compliant in Learners Information System(LIS) and Enhanced Basic Education Information System(EBEIS) by DepEd San Juan.
